Day Thirty

"A picture that can always make you smile"

This is it.  5 months later I have finished the photo challenge and this is the picture that can always make me smile.  This sums us up.  The quest for the perfect Christmas card picture produced MANY shots like this. 

We're not perfect, but this picture is. 

Because, you see, there is perfection in the imperfections of the log they are sitting on and the wooded, autumn ground they stand upon.  There is perfection in the sassy pose of our 5 year old and in the stuck-out tongue of our 1 year old.  There is perfection in this picture and perfect makes me smile.

This is us.  This is perfect.
